Courier Bird - Privacy Policy
Version 1 - effective 2026-11-04
This policy explains which personal data the game Courier Bird uses, why, who receives it, how long it is kept and how you control it. Players in Türkiye can also read our KVKK Information Notice (in Turkish): https://wemakefungames.com/tr/games/courier-bird/kvkk.
Summary
- We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or exact location.
- The game gives you a random player ID and keeps your progress.
- Some uses are optional. They stay off until you turn them on in Settings > Privacy, and the game works the same without them.
- Ads are shown by Google AdMob.
- Purchases go through Google Play or the App Store. We never see your payment details.
- You can delete your account in the game (Settings > Account > Delete account) or by email.
1. Who is responsible
The data controller is Polatkan Polat, an individual developer based in Türkiye who publishes games as “WeMakeFun Games” (“we”, “us”).
- Postal address: Zümrütevler Mah. Orkideli Sok. No: 6, 34852 Maltepe/İstanbul, Türkiye
- Email: support@wemakefungames.com
- Website: https://wemakefungames.com
2. What we use and why
Every game
- Connection and device data. When the game connects to the internet, the services it uses receive your IP address and basic device details (device model, operating system, game version, language). They use them to deliver the service, to estimate your country and to protect their systems.
- Game settings. When it starts, the game downloads current settings (for example rewards, prices in coins or how often ads appear) from Unity Remote Config. Unity receives an installation ID or your player ID, device details and your approximate country to pick the settings. Unity states that it does not keep this data.
- Cheat protection. The game compares your device clock with the time from our services, so daily rewards cannot be collected twice by changing the clock.
- Your privacy choices. Your age group (under 13, 13 to 15, or 16 and over) and your answers to the optional choices are saved on your device: which choice, yes or no, the text version you saw and the time. The game uses them to apply settings that fit your age, to follow your choices and to show that you made them. Your age group stays on your device.
- Age signal to Google. If you are under 16, the game sends Google a signal to treat your ad requests as a child’s. It does not send your age group.
- Support. If you email us, we receive your email address and message. We also receive the details the game adds to the draft email: game version, player ID, device model, system version and language. You can delete those details before sending.
Game account
- When you first play, Unity Authentication creates a guest account with a random player ID. Your device keeps a sign-in token so that you stay signed in.
- In Settings > Account you can link the account to Google (Android and iPhone) or to Sign in with Apple (iPhone). The game then receives a sign-in token from Google or Apple and sends it to Unity. Unity checks the token and stores only the account identifier from Google or Apple.
- Google’s sign-in always shares your name, email address and profile picture with the game. The game uses them only to complete the sign-in and does not store them. With Sign in with Apple, the game does not ask for your name or email.
- Why: to keep your progress, to let you continue on another device and to protect your account.
Cloud save
- Unity Cloud Save stores your game progress under your player ID. This includes distance and scores, coins, items, upgrades, skins and the purchase records the game needs to deliver what you bought. Settings such as sound and language stay on your device.
- When only one copy changed since they were last the same, the game uses the newer one. When both changed, the game asks which one to keep; the other copy is replaced.
Purchases
- Purchases are made through Google Play or the App Store under their terms. We never see your payment card or bank details.
- To deliver and restore purchases, we and our purchase service RevenueCat receive the product, price, currency, store country, date, order or transaction number and the store’s purchase receipt or token. RevenueCat keeps this purchase history under your player ID. That way your purchases follow your linked account, and a purchase can be repaired if the game closes during it. RevenueCat uses your IP address only to work out your country and then drops it.
- The stores send us sales reports (order number, product, price, country) without your name or email.
Ads
- The game shows ads from Google AdMob. Google’s software in the game collects data to request,
show and measure ads and to prevent ad fraud:
- your IP address, to estimate your general location;
- device and advertising identifiers: the Android advertising ID, the app set ID and other identifiers of accounts signed in on the device. On iPhone, the advertising ID is collected only if you allow tracking.
- your interactions with ads and the app (for example ad views and taps);
- diagnostic data.
- Google uses this data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.
- Personalized ads (based on your interests) are shown only if you agree:
- In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google’s consent form asks you when you first play. You can change your answer in Settings > Privacy > Ad choices.
- Everywhere else, including Türkiye, use the “Personalized ads” choice in the game.
- On iPhone, Apple also asks whether the game may track you. If you say no, the advertising ID is not shared.
- Without your consent you still see ads, but they are not personalized. They are based on the game and your general location. Google still uses identifiers to limit how often you see an ad, to count ads and to fight fraud. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google may show “limited ads”, depending on your answers in its form.
- Watching rewarded ads is always your choice. No-Ads removes the ads you did not choose to watch; optional rewarded ads stay available.
- Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- How Google uses information from apps that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
- You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings.
Analytics (optional)
- Only if you turn on Analytics. Unity Analytics then receives:
- your player ID and an installation ID (on iPhone also the identifier for vendor, IDFV);
- your IP address, to estimate your country;
- device details;
- game events, for example sessions, runs, coins earned and spent, purchases and ads watched.
- Why: to understand how the game is played, to balance it and to fix problems.
- If you turn Analytics off, collection stops and we ask Unity to delete the analytics data it has collected about you.
What we do not do
- We do not collect your contacts, photos, microphone or precise location.
- We do not sell or rent your personal data. Google receives data for ads only as described above.
- We do not make decisions about you based only on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects.

If we transfer a game to another publisher, its player data may move with it. We will tell you before this happens.
5. International transfers
We are in Türkiye. Our service providers store and process data mainly in the USA, and also in other countries where they have data centers.
- From Türkiye: there is no adequacy decision under KVKK for these countries. We have asked our service providers to sign the standard contracts announced by the Personal Data Protection Board (KVKK Article 9(4)). Until they are signed, the data is covered by the providers’ own data processing terms. Those terms include the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and security commitments, but they are not a KVKK standard contract. Unity has told us it cannot sign these contracts; the data Unity processes for us stays under the Unity Data Processing Addendum.
- From the EU, the UK and Switzerland: Unity and RevenueCat process data for us under terms that include the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and their UK and Swiss versions. Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and also uses Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask us for a copy of these safeguards.
6. How long we keep data
| Data | How long |
|---|---|
| Game account and cloud save | Until you delete your account, or until we shut down the game, when we delete all its data |
| Purchase history at RevenueCat | Until your account is deleted (within 30 days), unless an open refund or legal dispute needs it |
| Store sales reports (no name or email) | As long as tax and accounting rules require |
| Analytics data | Up to 13 months; deleted sooner when you turn Analytics off or delete your account |
| Game settings requests (Remote Config) | Not kept by Unity |
| Ad data at Google | Under Google’s retention rules: https://policies.google.com/technologies/retention |
| Support emails | Up to 2 years after your request is closed |
| Privacy choices and game data on your device | Until you delete the game, its data or your account |
If we stop running a game’s online services, we will tell players in the game first and then delete the accounts and their data.
7. Your choices and rights
In the game
- Settings > Privacy: turn optional choices on or off, open the Ad choices form (EEA, UK and Switzerland), and read this policy, the KVKK notice and the terms.
- Settings > Account: see and copy your player ID, link Google or Apple, delete your account.
- Device settings: reset or delete your advertising ID; on iPhone, change the tracking permission.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you whether we process data about you, and give you a copy of it;
- tell you why we process it and whether we use it only for that;
- tell you who received it, in Türkiye or abroad;
- correct wrong data;
- delete your data, and tell the recipients about corrections and deletions;
- stop a use based on legitimate interest (objection);
- withdraw a consent at any time;
- object to a result against you that comes only from automated analysis;
- in the EU, UK and Switzerland, also restrict processing and receive your game data in a common machine-readable format (portability);
- pay compensation if unlawful processing caused you damage (KVKK Article 11).
Write to support@wemakefungames.com and include your player ID. Formal KVKK applications are explained in the KVKK notice. We answer within 30 days, free of charge; only a formal KVKK application can carry the costs Turkish law allows, as that notice explains. We do not know your name or email, so we find your data by your player ID. We may ask a question to confirm that the account is yours.
You can also complain to a data protection authority:
- Türkiye: the Personal Data Protection Board, https://www.kvkk.gov.tr. Apply to us first, then complain within 30 days of our answer and no later than 60 days after your application (KVKK Article 14).
- EU and EEA: the authority in your country (list: https://www.edpb.europa.eu/about-edpb/about-edpb/members_en).
- UK: the Information Commission (ICO), https://ico.org.uk.
- Switzerland: the FDPIC, https://www.edoeb.admin.ch.
8. Children
- The game is meant for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children.
- At first launch the game asks your age group. If you are under 16, the optional choices are not offered and stay off, ads are not personalized and follow Google’s settings for children, and on iPhone we do not ask to track you.
- A parent or guardian can ask us at any time to delete a child’s account.
- Parents can use the store’s controls to approve purchases.
9. Security
All connections use encryption (HTTPS). Our service providers protect the data they store with their own security measures. Only the developer can access our service dashboards, and that access is protected with two-step verification. If a data breach affects you, we will inform you and the authorities as the law requires.
10. Changes
We will update this policy when the game or the law changes. We tell you in the game before important changes apply. If a change affects an optional choice, the game asks you again. The version and date are at the top of this page. You can ask us for older versions.
